Essence Serviced Apartments offer a variety of apartment configurations to suit singles, couples, families and large groups, from studios to two-bedroom apartments. All our two bedroom apartments provide one bathroom and our Two Bedroom Suites provide an ensuite and one bathroom.
Most apartments offer separate living, dining and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities.

Served daily from 7am - 9am in the Guest Lounge on Level 1, except for ALL Public Holidays we do not operate.
If you're in the mood for a hot breakfast - just ask the friendly Reception staff to direct you to a number of local cafes where you can buy the breakfast of your choice.
Why do we offer a free breakfast……?
It's our gift to you - the cost is not included or built into your room rate, it is provided
to encourage a home-away-from-home feeling while you are staying with us.
Our guests travel for many reasons - work, leisure, relocating, and hospital visits. It is
our hope that all our guests will enjoy and utilise the free home-style continental
breakfast. Please join us in our communal sitting areas, either outside under the shade
in the Garden Terrace or inside in the air-conditioned comfort of the Guest Lounge.
Don't forget you can even buy café style coffee made to order!

Don't sit alone in your room - come on down and help yourself to a cuppa tea and a
bite of toast - and just like breakfast, chatting is free too!
We ask one small favour - please only take what you can eat - this helps to keep wastage to a minimum.

Located opposite the hotel on Rode Road Chermside; one complimentary gym pass is included in all packaged rates* per room per night. The Gym is open Monday to Friday daily, Saturday mornings and closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Why should I choose a serviced apartment over a hotel or motel?
Anyone who has travelled for an extended period alone or with a group will tell you that the confines of a standard hotel room are not ideal.
Serviced apartments typically offer more space than hotels or motels, separate living, dining and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities. Essence Serviced Apartments is abundant with space and offer configurations to suit singles, couples, families and large groups, from studios to two bedroom apartments.
These features, unique to serviced apartments, allow you to cook your own meals, do your own laundry, and relax with plenty of space.
We also offer daily housekeeping, valet laundry and dry cleaning services, local restaurant, and baby sitting booking service.
Booking with Essence Serviced Apartments
Do we charge an online booking fee?
No. Essence Serviced Apartments does not charge an online booking fee for bookings made directly with a property through our website.
Do I need a credit card to make a booking?
Yes. To confirm your booking, we ask that you provide the details of a valid credit card or make a cash deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation approximately 10 days prior to arrival.
Variations to this may apply during peak periods and at the property's discretion.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations are only accepted in writing via email and must be received more than 48hours prior to arrival. If sent within 48hours of arrival, a minimum of the first nights accommodation or a maximum of the total amount of all nights booked, will be charged. This is dependant upon our ability to re-sell the room to another guest. If the room is resold then a full refund will be made. Cancellations are not accepted under any circumstances on high season or event nights. If you have already checked-in and you wish to shorten your booking to leave early, the balance of your accommodation will be held in credit for up to 12 months for you to use at another time. If you feel your cancellation falls outside the above guidelines, it will be considered at the managers discretion, on a case by case basis - please forward your correspondence to email@example.com
Cancellation fees will automatically be charged to the credit card provided, or deducted from the reservation deposit. Terms and conditions for specific bookings will apply.
What payment methods do we accept?
We accept all major credit cards* (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners) and cash. * A transaction fee will apply.
3% for Visa & Mastercard
4% for AMEX and Diners cards
EFTPOS and CASH transactions are fee free.
On arrival, a pre-authorisation of your credit card, for the amount of your whole accommodation stay, will be required.
If paying by cash, a security bond for at least the first night will be required upon arrival, eqvilevent of one nights’ accommodation and a credit card is required.
What do I need for check-in?
If settling by cash, you are required to provide a current driver’s licence or passport and credit card for pre-authorisation.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is 2pm. If you’re arriving before this time, you need to contact the property directly to make alternative arrangements.
While every effort will be made to accommodate early arrivals, this will be dependent on availability and at the discretion of the manager.
Reception hours are 7am - 11pm Monday to Sunday. If you arrive outside these times, don't worry, you can still gain access to your room. A KEY SAFE is located on the outside of the building, on the wall immediately to the right of the Hotel Entrance. You will be
asked to enter a PIN NUMBER to retrieve your keys
What time is check-out?
Check-out is 10am. If you require late check-out, you will need to contact the property directly to discuss availability.
While every effort will be made to accommodate requirements for late checkout, this will be dependent on availability and at the discretion of the manager.
I would like to conduct a meeting whilst I am staying at Essence Serviced Apartments?
In-apartment meeting facilities – Essence Serviced Apartments offer wireless broadband internet access and separate living, dining and sleeping areas. This allows for small meetings to be conducted in your apartment.
Meeting Facilities – Day packages are available from $49.00 per delegate, contact reception for further information.
Does Essence Serviced Apartments have business facilities?
Essence Serviced Apartments feature broadband internet access along with separate work stations, living and dining areas, ideal for conducting small meetings.
Reception can provide a range of business and administrative services, including printing and mailing.
When is reception open?
We are open between7am -11pm 7 days per week. We have an on-site reception with an on-site manager to ensure the security of guests and attend to urgent after hours enquiries.
What happens if I need something after hours?
In addition to on-site reception, Essence Service Apartments have an on-site manager to ensure the security of all guests and attend to urgent after hours enquiries.
If you should lock yourself out of your room, an afterhours lockout fee of $120 will be charged.
Do I have to do my own washing and make the bed?
Essence Serviced Apartments offers a range of options including daily housekeeping, valet laundry and dry cleaning services. In addition, most apartment types feature a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. We also have several coined washing and drying facilities located on level 1.

What are my dining options?
Essence Serviced Apartments offers a range of dining options. The all apartments contain a combination of an oven, hotplates, microwave, fridge, glassware, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and dish washer facilities. This allows you to cook for yourself in the comfort of your apartment.
Complimentary Continental Homestyle buffet breakfast is available on level 1 from 7-9am daily except for public holidays.

Where do I park?
Complimentary secure undercover car parking is available on site and will be required to be requested at time of booking.
I’m only staying for one or two nights – can I still stay at Essence Serviced Apartments?
Yes. Travellers can choose to stay with us whether it’s for one night, two nights or many months at a time.
